Day 1: Oasis Under the Stars

Your adventure begins after a relaxed lunch, depending on your arrival time. Once our camels are packed with food, blankets, and other essentials, we embark on our trek into the desert. The camels will take us to a small oasis nestled in the dunes, where we will spend our first night under the stars in a nomad tent. Dinner will be served around a campfire, accompanied by traditional music played by local nomads. If the night is clear, prepare to be amazed by the star-filled sky, the Milky Way, and the spectacular intensity of shooting stars.

After breakfast, we packed up and set off on a two-hour trek to our next destination. We’ll take a relaxing lunch break under the shade of a Tamarisk tree, where a tasty desert meal will be prepared and served. This is a unique opportunity to share time with these hospitable locals and learn about their way of life.

"The camel house is THE place to be in merzouga! It is the best bang for your buck, the price is reasonable compared to what's around and the service and place is spectacular. It's the optimal amount of luxury/authentic. Hot shower, incredible food, and Mohamed just has the most lovely presence about him. He is welcoming, kind, and so helpful. We stayed our last night here, but really wish we found this place before we arrived."
